Giving 

Thank you so much for your support. We could not continue to share God’s love with the people of Dorchester without your generous offerings of time, talents and finance. We encourage regular attenders to contribute to the church’s activities and outreach.

You can give in different ways ...

• In Person. There are opportunities to give in person at our Sunday services and on other occasions

• By Cheque. Donations can be handed to the Reception Desk at the Dorford Centre or sent by mail to The Treasurer, Dorchester Baptist Church, Bridport Road, Dorchester DT1 1RR

• By Contactless Card Payment. There is a card reader in the entrance hall of the Dorford Centre which will allow you to give to the church and to selected charities.

• By Standing Order/Bank Transfer. To set up a standing order or bank transfer, log in to your online banking or visit your local branch with DBC’s bank account details. The account name is Dorchester Baptist Church, the account number 00398400 and the sort code 30-92-69. Please quote your first name and surname as the reference.

• Click the donate button below. This takes you to a secure giving page.

If you pay income tax, please consider filling in a Charity Gift Aid Declaration and return it to the Church Office. This will enable DBC to claim a tax refund on your giving. For further information, please telephone 01305 262045 or email   

You may also wish to think about leaving a legacy. The Baptist Union has links with the National Free Wills Network which pays for a limited number of “simple” wills. You can find details here. Please contact the Church Office if you wish to discuss this further.
